Nieuwe favorietjes - New favorites

Ivoor een heerlijke basiskleur om mee te werken. In combinatie met andere kleuren geeft het soms reacties maar als je die goed toepast kan dat juist versterkend werken. Zoals in onderstaande blikvanger en kralenset. Tussen blauw en ivoor ontstaat een grijzige lijn met een mooie omlijning van het patroon als resultaat. Overigens is de combinatie met topaas ook één van mijn favorietjes.

Ivory really is a great colour to use as a base. Combining this colour with others sometimes will give a reaction which intensify the designs. For instance the focalbead and beadset below, made using a combination of ivory, lightblue and topaz. Between the blue and ivory a thin grey line appears as a reaction between the two glasses which gives it a wonderfull crisp finish. One of my favorite combinations bye the way.





Gisteren de ivoor met een 2-tal kleuren gecombineerd waarvan ik er één normaal niet zo snel zou pakken... okergeel. Het resultaat is heel fris en ik ga hem dan ook zeker vaker gebruiken.

Yesterday I combined ivory with 2 colours, one of them I normally would not use a lot... ochre yellow. The final result has a fresh and lovely look and I therefore I think will be used more often.





Als laatste gisteravond een holle kegelvormige kraal gemaakt, een leuke vorm om te verwerken als hanger.

As my final bead last night I made a hollow conebead, which I think is a wonderful shape to use as a pendant.
